Several Washington chapters are traveling to project sites this spring! A group from the University of Washington Chapter, accompanied by Puget Sound Professionals members, just returned from Yanayo, Bolivia for assessment work in preparation for implementation work this summer. The chapter plans to continue work on local roads and expand roof building, stove building, and irrigation to nearby communities, among other projects. The Puget Sound Professional Chapter is sending two teams for first-time assessment trips to Nicarauga and Tanzania in April and May. Other chapters, such as Seattle University, Western Washington, and Walla Walla University continue to prepare and fundraise for future assessment and implementation trips. Look for a new chapter forming near you! There are two new professional chapters forming on Bainbridge Island and in the Tri Cities area..
