Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life. This partnership involves the implementation of sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.
The West Coast Region of EWB-USA is committed to working hand-in-hand with engineering students and professionals, local communities, social scientists, economists, businesses, human rights and international development organizations, and other non-government organizations in the endeavor to realize the vision of a world where all people have access to adequate sanitation, safe drinking water and the resources to meet their other self-identified engineering and economic development needs. The EWB - West Coast Region is comprised of six states on the west coast of USA: Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Hawaii.
